The Kuwait-born concept will offer open-flame cooking and an upscale-casual setting.
Restaurants in Saudi Arabia are plenty, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room for new favourites. Next up for Riyadh is B+F, the Kuwait-born restaurant that has been generating anticipation for some time and is now preparing to open in Laysen Valley. Positioned in one of the city’s most prominent lifestyle destinations, the arrival looks set to add yet another crowd-pleasing address to Riyadh’s ever-expanding restaurant map.
Described as a boutique burger joint, B+F brings with it a polished identity that goes beyond the standard fast-casual formula. The concept first made its name in Kuwait and has been associated with bold, open-flame cooking and a more elevated take on familiar favourites. In Riyadh, it will join the line-up at Laysen Valley, a development known for attracting sought-after regional and international names.
Inside, diners can expect a warm, rustic atmosphere that reflects the original concept’s character. Think rich tones, earthy textures, and an upscale-casual mood that feels smart without becoming formal. At the centre of the experience is the live-fire element, with cooking over charcoal helping to define both the aesthetic and the flavour profile. It is the kind of detail that gives the restaurant a sense of theatre while reinforcing what B+F appears to do best, serving comforting dishes with extra depth and smokiness.
The menu at B+F Riyadh is expected to focus on open-fire favourites, spanning burgers, hot dogs, salads and sliders. Signature picks include burgers such as The Crispy Chicken and the Philly Steak Sandwich, as well as classic options for purists. The hot dog selection also leans playful, from The New Yorker with pickle, onion and mustard to the Dynamite, which comes loaded with chilli con carne, cheddar and jalapeño. Elsewhere, dishes such as the Charred Salad, B+F Ribs, Short Ribs Rigatoni and Smoked Brisket Shawarma suggest there is more here than a straightforward burger offering. For those ending on a sweeter note, the Burnt Chocolate Cake looks set to be one of the menu’s standout finishes.

For Riyadh diners, that combination of strong design, open-fire cooking and an accessible menu should prove appealing. It taps into the city’s appetite for concepts that feel contemporary yet still deliver comfort and familiarity. While an exact opening date has not yet been announced publicly, B+F’s Riyadh launch appears to be drawing closer, with an official local Instagram account now live. For burger fans and anyone keeping tabs on Laysen Valley’s next big opening, this is one worth watching.
