The restaurant has opened in the capital’s KAFD district.
Saudi Arabia is quickly becoming a hub for fantastic dining experiences. Signor Sassi, ROKA and Zuma from London have already made their mark in Riyadh, and now the UK’s beloved Apple Butter Cafe has made its way to the Saudi capital.
Apple Butter Cafe in Riyadh is in good culinary company among Mr Chow, Il Baretto and Kuuru in the King Abdullah Financial District. If the London branches are anything to go by, expect to be greeted by an imitation apple tree in the middle of the restaurant. This sets the tone for a garden picnic-like ambience. The decor is laid-back, featuring brick walls, rattan chairs, and marble-top tables, making for a casual spot to catch up with friends.
As for the menu, Apple Butter Cafe boasts a selection of classic dishes. Breakfast lovers can enjoy Truffle Scrambled Eggs — all day, in addition to the popular choices like Butter Chicken, Prawn Marinara Pasta and Wagyu Beef Burger. Desserts include Pistachio Umm Ali and Saffron Milk Cake, sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. The cafe also serves a wide selection of coffees, teas, and mocktails.
Apple Butter Cafe is backed by brothers Saleh and Mohammad Alayan, along with Faycal Abdel Khalek. Their experience and passion for hospitality have led to the opening of two London locations at Langham Place and Monmouth Street, and now they’re hoping for the same success from the Riyadh outpost.

Whether you like a cup of coffee in the morning, afternoon or several times a day, Apple Butter Cafe in Riyadh will be the place to fuel your day amidst Insta-worthy décor and the stunning skyline setting of the hip and happening KAFD district.
