The new project is part of a new phase of investments by ASFAR, the Saudi Tourism Investment Company.

ASFAR, the Saudi Tourism Investment Company, has announced a new project that places Al Baha firmly in the spotlight. The flagship of this phase is Gamra Adventure Park, a nature-led destination scheduled to be unveiled in 2026. The project underscores ASFAR’s role in accelerating tourism development across the Kingdom and signals a confident step toward long-term economic growth through placemaking and community engagement.

Developed by Jabal Khaira, an ASFAR subsidiary, Gamra Adventure Park draws inspiration from the rugged beauty of Al Baha’s mountains and valleys. The destination will cover 70,000 square metres and introduce 100 keys that balance privacy with resort living. Plans include 70 luxury villas and 30 resort rooms set within landscaped grounds that invite exploration. The concept is designed to translate the region’s natural assets into memorable adventure experiences while creating opportunities for the local community to participate in and benefit from Saudi Arabia’s evolving tourism landscape.

ASFAR will deliver the project in partnership with Ebda, an adventure, sport, and entertainment company, in line with the Kingdom’s ambition to welcome 150 million visitors by 2030. To support delivery and day-to-day excellence, ASFAR has also announced JABA, a new destination management company that will serve as the operational arm for upcoming destinations, providing specialised, high-quality services that elevate hospitality standards and ensure sustainability is embedded from planning to performance.

ASFAR aims to extend tourism development into new corners of the Kingdom where the individuality of place and the strength of local communities shape the story. With Gamra Adventure Park in Al Baha and a parallel project in Yanbu, ASFAR is paving the way for a new generation of Saudi landmarks that champion nature, culture and innovation.
