A 49-day celebration of global culture arrives in Al Suwaidi from 2 November.

Suwaidi Park returns for Riyadh Season 2025 with a programme that brings the world to the Saudi capital. Set in the Al Suwaidi neighbourhood, the festival runs from Sunday, 2 November to Saturday, 20 December 2025, spotlighting nine cultures through food, music, dance and craft. Across 49 days, you can wander a lively marketplace, sample regional dishes made fresh to order, and catch daily performances from international artists and community troupes.

The calendar opens with India from 2 to 10 November 2025. Expect a colourful rollout of stage shows, a parade that winds through the park, and a packed food court. Performances by MC Stan and Kanika Kapoor lead the entertainment alongside folk dances and live bands. Bangladesh follows from 11 to 14 November 2025, bringing vibrant textiles, traditional rhythms and homestyle Bengali cooking.

Egypt takes over from 15 to 17 November 2025 with street-food favourites and heritage crafts. From 18 to 20 November 2025, the Levant showcases the region’s shared spirit with dabke performances, aromatic dishes, and artisan products representing Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Palestine. Yemen’s slot runs from 21 to 28 November 2025, featuring classic music, handmade wares and recipes that celebrate the country’s culinary heritage.

Pakistan arrives from 29 November to 1 December 2025 with qawwali, fragrant grills and a strong showing from local artisans. Indonesia steps in from 2 to 4 December 2025 with batik workshops, traditional dance and bold flavours. The Philippines follows from 5 to 8 December 2025, serving crowd-pleasing street eats and upbeat live shows. The closing stretch highlights East Africa, with Uganda on 9 to 10 December 2025, Ethiopia from 11 to 13 December 2025, and Sudan from 14 to 20 December 2025. Expect percussion-heavy performances, intricate handicrafts and comforting dishes that reflect each nation’s identity.
