The Groves celebrates its fifth anniversary with a November programme for Riyadh Season 2026.
Dining highlights include Opa Kefi, Anne Oja, Zama Zulu, Zodiac Garden and Charlie Chonka Returns.

Riyadh Season is in full swing, with zones offering a range of experiences. Now, it welcomes the return of The Groves, celebrating its fifth anniversary with themed restaurants, outdoor entertainment and lakeside experiences. From a Greek wedding-inspired gathering to a chocolate carnival, there are plenty of reasons to make a night of it.
Opa Kefi takes its cue from a Greek wedding, pairing food with dancing and a celebratory atmosphere. At Anne Oja, the focus shifts to Turkish home cooking, with a concept inspired by a grandmother’s kitchen.
Feel the rhythm of Zama Zulu, which returns this year with a fusion of South African and South Asian flavours. The decor, filled with African motifs and animal prints, sets the stage for a great dining experience. Expect live performances, drumming, and an atmosphere that will have you dancing at your table.
Zodiac Garden, meanwhile, looks to Italian and Japanese cuisine, with a star-themed garden setting and views over the lake. The royal-blue interiors, softly lit ambience, and garden-style seating create a dreamy setting filled with astrology-inspired details. Enjoy live music and performances as you dine under the stars.
Charlie Chonka Returns takes the sweet route with The Little Krazy Karnival. Chocolate and carnival theatrics shape the attraction, which brings a theatrical dessert experience to life. Step into a world where chocolate, colours, and characters come alive. Expect whimsical magic inspired by the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, reimagined for the festive season.
At The Groves Village, dining and live performances share an outdoor setting amid casual dining stops such as wood-fired pizza at The Groves Pizzeria and fish and chips at Catch & Chips. Kooz Karak draws on Hijazi heritage and Indian flavours, serving sweet and savoury chapati alongside its signature karak.
Four-legged companions have their own destination at Luca Park, which features 13 dedicated services for dogs, including grooming, veterinary care, a dog hotel, dog beach, and a dog-friendly cafe.
Football fans should make a note of The Lakefront, where screenings of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 begin on 7 January 2027. The lakeside setting will give supporters a place to follow the tournament together as the celebrations continue into the new year.
During the previous seasons, the venue was traditionally home to upmarket restaurants and live entertainment. It also featured North Pole-inspired experiences and a lavender garden, inspired by Islamic gardens.
Beyond The Groves, Riyadh Season’s wider programme includes Boulevard World, Boulevard City, Wonder Garden and Suwaidi Park, with the Farmers’ Market adding another outdoor outing. Major events such as WWE Crown Jewel, Six Kings Slam, and the Ethnosport Cultural Festival extend the celebrations into sport and culture, giving visitors further reasons to explore the Saudi capital.
