Riyadh Season is in full swing, with zones offering diverse experiences. Now, it is welcoming the return of The Groves. The zone will open on Wednesday, 5 November 2025, and run until 19 July 2026. Here’s what to expect.
Located in Ar Rafiah, The Groves has been one of Riyadh Season’s most popular zones. This year, The Groves will be open for the winter season and will host special events after dark. The zone is a collaboration between the Saudi General Entertainment Authority and SIHAMCO.
Charlie Chonka and The Little Krazy Faktory
Charlie Chonka and The Little Krazy Faktory is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. This new attraction brings a theatrical dessert experience to life. You get to step into a world where chocolate, colours, and characters come alive. Expect whimsical magic inspired by the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, reimagined for the festive season.
Gulnaz Khanum
Gulnaz Khanum is the first Saudi-born Persian dining concept. The space features Persian rugs and saffron-inspired, intricately designed elements, offering a warm atmosphere. Enjoy a blend of rich flavours and live music that completes the experience.
Haret Abu Issam
Step into Old Damascus with Haret Abu Issam, a Syrian restaurant that captures the true spirit of Damascene hospitality. Surrounded by authentic details reminiscent of a lively Syrian market, you’ll taste the cuisine and live the story. Expect a rustic yet royal vibe with pillars and live performances that bring Syrian culture to life.
Luca Park
Luca Park is an indoor and outdoor dog park designed for your four-legged friends. Offering 13 services, including grooming, veterinary care, a dog hotel, dog beach, and a dog-friendly cafe, it’s a great space for all to come together.
Pick your Kashta
Experience Pick Your Kashta, an outdoor picnic escape by The Groves Garden, set amid a serene lake under the open sky. Enjoy a cosy setup with your favourite picnic delicacies, crafted to make every gathering warm and relaxing.
The Groves Pizzeria

The Groves Village
Discover The Groves Village, which features retail outlets, cafes, and activities in one beautifully designed space. With an outdoor stage, open-air seating, and a lively atmosphere, it’s where Riyadh comes alive.
Zama Zulu
Feel the rhythm of Zama Zulu, which returns this year with a fusion of South African and South Asian flavours. The decor, filled with African motifs and animal prints, sets the stage for a great dining experience. Expect live performances, drumming, and an atmosphere that will have you dancing at your table.
Zodiac Garden
Expect this Italian-Japanese fusion restaurant to return to The Groves this time. Step into Zodiac Garden, where stars, flavours, and imagination unite. The royal-blue interiors, softly lit ambience, and garden-style seating create a dreamy setting filled with astrology-inspired details. Enjoy live music and performances as you dine under the stars.
During the previous seasons, the venue was traditionally home to upmarket restaurants and live entertainment. It also included football festivities and North Pole-inspired experiences. Plus, it opened a Lavender Garden, which drew inspiration from Islamic gardens.
