The theme for this year’s Saudi National Day is “Our Pride is in Our Nature”.
Saudi Arabia’s National Day is celebrated annually on 23 September. This year marks the 96th National Day, and it looks set to be an exciting event. The General Entertainment Authority took to Instagram to announce the theme – “Our Pride is in Our Nature”. This year’s theme builds upon last year’s theme of “Pride in Our Nature”, tying in with Saudi Vision 2030 and highlighting the Kingdom’s ambitious goals.
The logo combines geometric typography with patterns inspired by traditional Saudi weaving. The phrase “Our Pride Is in Our Nature” highlights the authenticity and core values of the Saudi people. Its structured, block-like forms convey boldness, unity, and heritage, while embracing a modern design approach that honours the Kingdom’s rich cultural identity.
Saudi National Day identity

This year’s visual identity embodies a sense of pride in the homeland and a strong sense of belonging. Its concept draws inspiration from the authentic qualities and enduring values that define Saudi society, such as courage, vision, authenticity, determination, generosity, and hospitality.
The identity is brought to life through six core traits that capture the essence of the national character and the spirit of the community. Each trait is expressed through a distinctive visual symbol, thoughtfully designed to convey its unique meaning and cultural significance.

The symbols are inspired by key elements of Saudi culture, heritage, and national identity. Drawing from the Saudi Vision logo, Al Sadu patterns, Tuwaiq Mountain, traditional Najdi doors, Al Ajrab Sword, and traditional forms such as the arrow, dagger, mabkharah, and Tolat Al Oud, each symbol reflects important values such as ambition, strength, courage, determination, generosity, and resilience.
Together, these elements tell the story of Saudi Arabia’s journey, celebrating its rich cultural heritage while looking towards the future. The symbols also reflect the deep roots and continuity of Saudi identity across generations, highlighting the Kingdom’s values, strong sense of community, and commitment to progress while remaining connected to its authentic cultural roots.
What is Saudi National Day?

Saudi National Day is a significant day that marks the birth of modern-day Saudi Arabia. In 1932, the Kingdom of Najd and Hijaz were unified. Today, the event is an opportunity for Saudi Arabia to celebrate its achievements since the founding of this Kingdom and look to future accomplishments.
Each year, festivities take place across the country, featuring special events such as parades, concerts, and fireworks. No modern-day Saudi National Day celebration is complete without songs. The four songs to celebrate the occasion are Above the Clouds, My Home Is Here, Our Date 2030 and Yes.
Happy Saudi National Day.
