The resort includes rock pools, fine dining and a secluded spa.
Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coastline continues to transform into one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious tourism destinations. Now, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has officially joined the landscape with the opening of Rosewood AMAALA, marking the luxury hospitality brand’s first resort in Saudi Arabia.
Opening on 18 August 2026, Rosewood AMAALA is located in Triple Bay, where the Tabuk mountains meet the Red Sea and the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef. The resort forms part of AMAALA, Red Sea Global’s wellness-focused destination on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast.

Spread across 40 hectares, the property has been designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with interiors by Tristan Auer. The resort features 110 pool villas, each overlooking the Red Sea and designed around indoor-outdoor living. Accommodation ranges from intimate suites and pavilions to larger family villas and Royal Villas, with private pools, sand-lined terraces and, in selected categories, kitchens, barbecue areas and dedicated butler service.
Wellness sits at the heart of the resort through Asaya, Rosewood’s dedicated well-being concept. Spanning 2,100 square metres, the retreat includes six treatment rooms, a double suite, private hammam, separate wet areas for men and women, two fitness centres and studios dedicated to yoga and movement.
Dining is another major focus, with eight restaurants and lounges drawing inspiration from Saudi Arabia, the Mediterranean and the surrounding coastline. Olea explores the flavours of Italy, Spain and Greece, with a six-metre olive tree at its entrance referencing historic trade routes between the Mediterranean and Red Sea.

Saha focuses on progressive Middle Eastern cuisine served across pavilions designed to resemble a village gathering place, while The Grill Bar & Restaurant cooks meat, seafood and vegetables over wood and charcoal. Along the waterfront, Puro Cove Club serves ceviches and crudos, while Wadi Library combines local literature with craft-focused afternoon experiences.
The Pool Lounge offers all-day dining beside the resort’s largest swimming pool, while the Pool Bar provides sunbed service. Asaya Lounge completes the line-up with wellness-focused dishes and botanical drinks.

Experiences take inspiration from Saudi traditions as well as the natural environment. Guests can try Sadu weaving, Arabic calligraphy, sound healing, sunrise yoga, breathwork and ecology walks. Three private Asaya Lodges also cater to longer wellness stays, each featuring its own garden and treatment room.
Families have not been forgotten. Rosewood Explorers includes a dedicated children’s club and pool for guests aged four to 12, with programming centred around marine life, environmental storytelling, Saudi culture and traditional crafts.
Rosewood AMAALA is now open for stays, with rates starting from SAR 4,000 per night.
We can’t wait to check in.
