Sports fans, this one’s for you. Get ready to swing into action with the Saudi Open 2024. The event kicks off in Riyadh tomorrow, 17 April and runs through until 20 April at the Riyadh Golf Club, promising four days of intense competition.

Held against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia’s breathtaking landscapes, the Saudi Open has become an important fixture on the international golfing calendar. Presented by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), it’s a premier golfing event that attracts top players from around the globe to showcase their skills and compete for glory.

Taking place at the Riyadh Golf Club, players will compete on the 18-hole golf course and lush greens. Artificial lakes and streams help to make this both a charming and challenging course, ensuring that players stay focused.

This year, the 2023 champion, Denwit Boriboonsub, will return to defend his title. Competing against him are Henrik Stenson, Andy Ogletree, Peter Uihlein, and David Puig. With over SAR 3 million up for grabs, local Saudi talents’ eyes are on the prize as well.

Besides all the golfing action, there will be plenty of other activities on the ground. From hitting cages and putting challenges in the Fan Zone to a family-friendly Kids Zone, there’s something for all ages. You can also visit the Sajah Market, your go-to spot for post-game grub and shopping. With live entertainment, henna artists, and fire shows, your Saudi Open experience promises to be unforgettable.

Riyadh Golf Club, 20 minutes from the capital, is one of the most popular golf clubs in Saudi Arabia. The club opened in 2005 and attracts beginners as well as pros. It boasts wide fairways, manicured greenery, and undulating terrain.

Tickets are currently available and start at SAR 50 for weekday passes and SAR 75 for weekend access. Gates open at 6 a.m. on weekdays, 7:15am on Friday, and 6:30am on Saturday.
