A one-of-a-kind coastal links on Shura Island blends sustainable design with exclusive Red Sea luxury.

Saudi Arabia is making waves, and one destination turning heads is the Red Sea. Now, it has unveiled the Shura Links — a groundbreaking golf course that will elevate the golfing experience in the Kingdom.

Developed by Red Sea Global — which also backs the famous Amaala project — Shura Links is Saudi Arabia’s first island golf course. Designed by architect Brian Curley and operated by Golf Saudi, the par-72, 7,400-yard layout delivers a true coastal links experience shaped by the island’s natural contours. Fairways at the course weave through native mangroves and sweeping dunes, then run alongside the Red Sea in classic links fashion.

A beachfront clubhouse serves as the social heart of Shura Links. Inspired by native flora and fauna, it frames panoramic views over the eighteenth green and brings together elevated dining, a curated retail offer, and relaxed indoor and poolside spaces.

Shura Links

“The opening of Shura Links is a landmark achievement in the Kingdom’s pursuit of global leadership in sports and tourism. It reflects the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030 and underscores PIF’s commitment to unlocking new sectors that diversify our economy and elevate quality of life. Situated at the heart of The Red Sea, Shura Links is more than a world-class golf course — it is a powerful realisation of how this unique destination can be transformed into an engine for investment, luxury tourism, and sustainable opportunities for future generations,” said H.E. Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Chairman of Golf Saudi.

The golf experience extends beyond the 18 holes, with a family-friendly adventure putting course beside the clubhouse, premium Callaway range balls, a boutique pro shop with leading brands and Shura Links merchandise, dining indoors, on the terrace, or by the pool, and an expansive grass practice range, putting green, and a fully grassed short-game area.

But Shura Links is not just about luxury and leisure; it’s also a sustainability champion. RSG has partnered with the OnCourse® platform to implement cutting-edge techniques aimed at reducing water consumption. Soil sensors and innovative turf management systems will also be used to ensure optimal irrigation and turfgrass quality — while minimising water wastage.
