The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place from 17 to 19 April 2026.
Saudi, start your engines. The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is returning to Jeddah from 17 to 19 April 2026. We are buzzing with excitement, as this is motorsport’s sixth visit to the world’s fastest and longest street circuit, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, with tickets now on sale.
The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah returns early in the season. The racing extravaganza will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix from 6 to 8 March, taking motorsports lovers on a tour spanning five continents. It will then shift gears to the Middle East in April, considering March will see Ramadan. Bahrain will host the championship from 10 to 12 April, paving the way for Jeddah to take centre stage from 17 to 19 April for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The race will take place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which boasts views of the Red Sea coast and an average speed of up to 252km/h. Both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will return to their traditional Sunday race format, following the experiment with Saturday evening Grand Prix two seasons ago.

As the F1 season reaches its climax, the race will make its way to Qatar from 27 to 29 November 2026, followed by the grand finale in Abu Dhabi from 4 to 6 December 2026, promising a nail-biting conclusion. For those unversed in F1, the 2026 season marks the 76th anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship. As part of the championship, each Grand Prix weekend is a carefully planned event, with three days of non-stop action. From Australia to Japan, Europe to the Americas, and culminating in the Middle East, each destination adds its own flavour — followed by a series of concerts.
The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has put Jeddah on the motorsport map, attracting the biggest motorsport stars. Saudi Arabia hosted its first Formula 1 event in December 2021 and has hosted it annually since then.
Saudi Arabia is no stranger to hosting world-class sports events. King Abdullah Sports City Arena in Jeddah has hosted events across football, WWE and boxing. In August 2022, the stadium hosted Rage on the Red Sea, the much-anticipated boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.
