The race will take place in Jeddah for two days.

The Fast and the Furious franchise has raised a generation of petrolheads in Saudi Arabia, so it is no surprise that the Kingdom loves its motorsports. The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah has secured a place in the hearts of Saudi residents and now, Formula E is gearing up for a much-awaited return to the Kingdom.

Formula E has announced the calendar for Season 12 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, and Saudi Arabia is on the list. Following a thrilling debut at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit earlier this year, the Kingdom will once again host Rounds 4 and 5 of the new season on 13 and 14 February 2026, as the only night races on the calendar.

Announced as part of the largest race schedule in Formula E history, Season 12 will feature 18 rounds across 12 destinations, marking a bold new chapter for the all-electric series. Following ratification from the FIA World Motor Sport Council, the calendar brings high-voltage action to cities like São Paulo, Mexico City, Berlin, Tokyo, and Shanghai, with exciting firsts in Madrid and Miami.

Returning to Jeddah marks a major milestone. After six successful seasons in Diriyah, Formula E’s relocation to the Red Sea coast brought new energy, a stunning skyline, and a circuit that’s officially the fastest street track in the world. It also introduced ‘PIT BOOST’ — a mid-race pit stop that delivers a strategic burst of power and unpredictability.

The season gets underway in São Paulo on 6 December 2025, before heading to Mexico City in January and then making a much-anticipated debut at the Miami International Autodrome, home to Formula 1’s Hard Rock Stadium Grand Prix, on 31 January. From there, it’s on to Jeddah before another historic debut, this time in Madrid, where the Circuito de Madrid Jarama-RACE hosts a World Championship event for the first time since 1989.

Other returning fan favourites include the tight turns of Monaco, a double dose of Berlin, and the electric buzz of a season finale at London’s Excel Centre on 15 and 16 August 2026, concluding the GEN3 Evo era. Two final race destinations remain to be confirmed, with negotiations currently underway.

The world’s first all-electric FIA World Championship, Formula E, stands at the forefront of sustainable innovation. So buckle up and prepare for two days packed with high-octane action.

Tickets to the race will be available soon.
