The world’s largest Brunch & Cake opens in Diriyah

Opening on 12 December, the first Saudi outlet boasts UNESCO World Heritage Site views. 

If you always have room for dessert, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that Brunch & Cake is opening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The much-loved Spanish brand is already popular in the UAE, and is expanding to the kingdom for the first time.

Brunch & Cake is set to open on 12 December in Diriyah’s Al Bujairi, and will be the café’s largest venue in the world – which means there’ll be a whole lot of cake. The space covers 4,198 square feet and can accommodate up to 70 people indoors as well as 36 people outdoors. Settle into the bright, boho-chic space, which has shades of cream, plant pots and a faux fireplace. Plus, guests can enjoy stunning views from the terrace of the UNESCO World Heritage Site At-Turaif.

Brunch & Cake in Diriyah serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a plant-based menu. The savoury menu includes mushroom risotto, vegan nachos and vegan bolognese. Famous for its cakes – as the name suggests – there are fresh breads, desserts and pastries. The cakes range from the Healthy Tiramisu served in a glass and decorated with flowers, to the Victorian Sponge with layers of cream and strawberries. Plus, guests have the chance to customise their own cakes.

Amjad Barakat, CEO and co-founder of Innovision Holding Company, explained: “Following the success of our four locations in the UAE, our move into Riyadh’s Al Bujairi is the beginning of Brunch & Cake extending its horizons to the booming F&B landscape in the Middle East. This expansion, as with the other locations we’ve opened thus far, is being introduced keeping in mind the unique setting of the capital’s beautiful heritage site. We’re thrilled to finally set foot in Saudi and end the year with a new beginning.”

Brunch & Cake currently has 10 outlets across the world, and plans to open five more locations in Saudi Arabia. Brunch & Cake in Diriyah will be open from Sunday to Wednesday from 10am to midnight, and Thursdays to Saturdays from 10am to 1am. Grab a slice.
