Villa Palma brings a slice of the Mediterranean to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh’s dining scene welcomes a contemporary new addition.

Newcomers to Riyadh’s dining scene are up for a few surprises – it continues to evolve and revolve around culinary diversity, now featuring everything from globally renowned names to dinner-and-a-show concepts. As for its latest addition? Villa Palma, a sophisticated new dining destination inspired by the refined cultures and flavours of the Mediterranean.

Villa Palma

Located in the heart of Riyadh, the contemporary restaurant draws influence from the iconic culinary traditions of Greece, Spain, Italy, Morocco and the South of France to curate an unparalleled experience that transports guests to some of the region’s most beloved destinations. Designed by FA Architects, the 1,250-square-metre restaurant encapsulates rich cultural influences from across the Mediterranean, bringing together entertainment and gastronomy to deliver an incomparable dining experience. Villa Palma’s dining room, abundant with natural light, is punctuated with colourful Italian-inspired furniture and artisanal tableware. The majestic Moroccan courtyard, meanwhile, comes to life with live performances on a custom-made stage.

And when it comes to the mains, standout creations include Black Truffle Pizza, Wagyu Tenderloin, Grilled Whole Lobster, Salt Crusted Seabass, Veal Milanese, Pasta Alla Norma and the mouth-watering Paella de Marisco. It all culminates with Villa Palma’s dessert selection, which features indulgent must-haves such as Vanilla Panna Cotta, Flourless Chocolate Cake and Basque Cheesecake.

Villa Palma

Open six days a week, Villa Palma offers a full range of multi-sensorial lunch and dinner experiences as well as a dynamic à la carte weekend brunch experience, which takes place exclusively on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 5:30pm. But regardless of the offering, the vibrancy and warmth of the Mediterranean promises to be the common denominator.
