The glamping destination deep in the Sharjah desert will reopen on 1 October.
By now, it’s highly likely that an aimless scroll on Instagram led you to a photo of those otherworldly domes in the desert – and now they’re back as Mysk Moon Retreat prepares to reopen for winter. Welcoming guests from 1 October, it remains one of the country’s most popular destinations for glamping and desert adventures, especially owing to its location amidst the dunes of Mleiha and Al Faya mountains in Sharjah.
Elsewhere, activities like trekking, horseback riding, dune bashing and paragliding are also on offer. Bonus: Mysk Moon Retreat is providing a special 25 percent early bird discount for all bookings made before the end of September for stays between 1 and 15 October. The property features ten domes and six tents, most with private temperature-controlled pools and barbecue terraces, with both mountain and desert views. An Arabic coffee ceremony by sunset, stargazing, or a hands-on barbeque dinner are just a few of the nocturnal activities onsite.
Moon Retreat is part of Sharjah Collection by Mysk, which includes an impressive collection of unique retreats that are redefining the luxury, glamping and wellness concepts in the region. Here, the focus is on immersing in nature, culture and heritage, with retreats purposefully located in key locations throughout the emirate of Sharjah. The collection is also offering a 30 percent discount to visitors staying at Kingfisher Retreat, Al Badayer Retreat, and Al Faya Retreat during October for all bookings made ten days prior to arrival.
