The collaboration celebrates BTS’ 13th anniversary with purple wafers, Korean-inspired flavours and collectible cookie designs.
BTS is entering the snack aisle. The global K-pop group has teamed up with Oreo for a limited-edition cookie collection created to celebrate BTS’s 13th anniversary, bringing together Korean flavour inspiration, collectable designs and the group’s signature connection with ARMY.
The BTS collaboration centres on a hotteok-inspired Oreo. Drawing from the popular Korean street snack, the cookie features a brown sugar pancake flavour and a dual-coloured creme inspired by hotteok’s warm brown sugar filling. The flavour choice gives the partnership a stronger sense of identity than a standard celebrity-branded launch, nodding to a treat closely linked to Korean food culture.
The cookies also introduce Oreo’s first purple wafers. The colour is closely associated with BTS and ARMY, making it a fitting detail for a release aimed squarely at fans. From the flavour to the colour palette, the collaboration has been designed to feel connected to the group’s story rather than simply adding a logo to the packaging.
Collectors will also have plenty to look out for. The limited-edition BTS Oreo cookies include 13 unique embossment designs, each created to mark the group’s 13th anniversary. Designs include heart symbols, the BTS light stick and hidden messages that can only be revealed by collecting multiple cookies. The packaging also features a QR code, allowing fans to submit digital love letters to BTS as part of the wider campaign.

Singapore fans can experience the collaboration in person through a dedicated Oreo pop-up at FairPrice VivoCity. Running from 22 June to 5 July, the activation will give visitors the chance to sample the hotteok-inspired cookies and take part in interactive experiences linked to the launch.
The timing feels especially strong for Singapore. BTS are also due to bring their world tour to Singapore National Stadium for four shows in December, giving local fans another reason to celebrate the group ahead of their arrival.
