Australian artist CJ Hendry is bringing her immersive Flower Market installation to Singapore for the first time.
Singapore’s event calendar is getting a colourful new addition as internationally acclaimed Australian artist CJ Hendry brings her viral Flower Market installation to Singapore for the very first time. Following hugely successful runs in New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Abu Dhabi, the immersive art experience will make its Singapore debut, offering visitors the chance to explore a world of plush flowers and even take one home for free.
Running from 10 to 14 June at the IMBA Theatre gallery space at 18 Marina Gardens Drive within the Gardens by the Bay precinct, CJ Hendry’s Flower Market is set to be one of the most talked-about art events in Singapore this year. The limited-time installation will only be open for five days, making it a must-visit attraction for anyone looking for unique things to do in Singapore.

The Flower Market is an immersive interactive exhibition that transforms a gallery into a greenhouse-inspired space filled with thousands of plush flowers. Known for pushing the boundaries between art and audience participation, CJ Hendry’s concept invites visitors to become part of the artwork itself rather than simply observing it.
The highlight of this experience is a stunning field of plush blooms featuring more than 30 flower varieties. Visitors can wander through the colourful installation and receive one complimentary plush flower upon entry. Those who want to expand their bouquet can purchase additional plush flowers for S$7 per stem, creating a customised floral collection to take home as a keepsake.
Adding a local touch to the exhibition, the Singapore edition will feature exclusive flower designs inspired by native flora. Visitors can look forward to plush interpretations of the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower, alongside the Raffles’ Pitcher Plant and the Singapore Ginger Flower.

Entry to CJ Hendry’s Flower Market in Singapore is completely free, with advance registration encouraged but no admission ticket required.
Whether you’re a fan of immersive art, searching for a unique date idea, or simply looking for an excuse to surround yourself with thousands of plush flowers, CJ Hendry’s Flower Market looks set to be one of Singapore’s most charming events this June.
