The viral food creators are stepping out from behind the screen and into Singapore’s dining scene.
Singapore’s dining scene thrives on reinvention. From beloved hawker classics to boundary-pushing tasting menus, the city has built its reputation on an appetite for new ideas. Now, The Meatmen Group is bringing its own take to the table with the launch of Rice, marking the viral YouTubers’ first move into the physical dining world.
Located at Republic Plaza in Raffles Place, Rice opens within Rasa Space, a venue already recognised for bringing together music, nightlife and creative energy under one roof. It is a fitting setting for the new concept, which positions itself as a social space where food, community and culture intersect.

The concept takes its name from one of the most essential ingredients in Asian cuisine. More than a staple, rice has long served as a cultural cornerstone across the region, carrying memories of home, heritage and shared meals. That sense of familiarity is central to the restaurant’s identity. For The Meatmen Group, which built a loyal following by making local recipes and food stories accessible online, this new opening represents a natural progression from digital content to real-life connection.
Rice is a physical extension of The Meatmen Channel, bringing the group’s online personality to life. On the menu, comfort food remains the focus, but with a playful and contemporary point of view. Dishes are rooted in familiar flavours while giving Rice its own identity. Highlights include Laksa Seafood Pao Fan, Smoky Fish Soup and Beef Rendang, alongside more inventive bites such as Lontong Fries. Desserts continue the theme with options like Pulut Hitam Panna Cotta and Roasted Rice Mousse with pandan.
The menu is also expected to evolve every few months, keeping the concept fresh and giving diners a reason to return. That fluidity feels in step with both Singapore’s ever-changing restaurant landscape and The Meatmen Group’s own creative spirit.
