The rising stars of One Or Eight are headed to Singapore on 21 October 2026 for their debut performance at Victoria Theatre. Starting in the Lion City, the Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8-, will also see the Japanese boy band dancing their way to Manila and Bangkok after their performance here.
Comprising eight members, namely Mizuki, Neo, Reia, Ryota, Souma, Takeru, Tsubasa and Yuga, One Or Eight takes its name from the Japanese phrase “Ichi ka bachi ka”, which expresses the idea of an all-or-nothing gamble. The band debuted in 2024 after its members emerged as top contenders in WARP’s DIG – Battle Audition talent competition. The eight-member group launched in 2024 with “Don’t Tell Nobody”, produced by Ryan Tedder and David Stewart.
Their international profile quickly grew with “Kawasaki”, including a remix with Big Sean that reached number five on the US iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart. Viral hit “Tokyo Drift” followed, generating more than 300 million TikTok views, while “DSTM” sampled Rihanna’s hit song “Don’t Stop The Music.”
Beyond the charts, the group has since received critical recognition with wins and nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan and NetEase Music Awards. The group also made history by becoming the first Japanese boy group to walk the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
