Nourishing Samgyetang in Singapore gets a flavourful twist with carefully selected herbs and wholesome ingredients at Sam Sam Sam.
Sam Sam Sam Singapore is the latest Korean dining concept from Luke Yi, the restaurateur behind upscale restaurants Drim and Modu. Located at Novena Square, Sam Sam Sam Singapore specialises in samgyetang, Korea’s iconic ginseng chicken soup, with a menu featuring a variety of nourishing renditions prepared with carefully selected herbs and wholesome ingredients. Blending traditional recipes with contemporary flavours, the restaurant offers a comforting take on the beloved Korean classic while celebrating the rich culinary heritage of samgyetang.
Ordering here takes on an almost prescriptive approach — diners are encouraged to answer a simple quiz on their healthcare needs, which leads them to a menu recommendation that best suits them. For those feeling the onset of a chill, there’s the Thermal Detox to dispel the body of a flu bug, and for those drained of energy, there’s the Vitality Tonic for that much-needed boost.

Other samgyetang options available include the Circulation Elixir, Nourishing Perilla, and the Immunity Black, all so named to suggest the purpose of their formulations. Other dishes beyond samgyetang include hand-pulled kalguksu noodles, Korean-style porridges, and a trim selection of poultry and vegetable sides for sharing.
This refreshing dining concept lends itself seamlessly to its ambience, with interiors that echo the look and feel of an authentic, traditional Korean apothecary — medicine drawers line the walls of the restaurant, while textures such as ceramic and dark timber complete the whole picture for its setting.

Of the creation of his food and beverages empire, Yi once said that “We need to be a little more, I guess, creative to bring people out. It’s not just about food anymore. People remember great experiences.” Now with over 500 full-time staff and this latest restaurant joining his roster, Yi’s latest homerun may just boil down to the humble samgyetang.
