Changi Airport will welcome a new private terminal at Terminal 2, which is expected to open in mid-2027. The facility will be operated by Plaza Premium Group, taking over from JetQuay, and will replace the existing CIP (Commercially Important Person) Terminal. Designed for travellers who value comfort, privacy and convenience, the new space promises to transform the way passengers move through the airport.
The new private terminal will be connected to the wider Changi Airport experience, including its shops, restaurants and boarding gates, while offering a more secluded arrival and departure journey. Passengers will be able to access the terminal via a dedicated driveway and car park, avoiding the airport’s busiest public areas.
Inside, the terminal will include spacious lounges, private suites, a stylish bar and premium dining options. Personalised concierge services will also be available, with staff helping to manage the airport process, from check-in to boarding.
The upgrade is not just about luxury. It is also about efficiency. Travellers will be able to avoid long queues, reduce waiting times and use their time at the airport in a way that suits them.
