teamLab is hosting its first solo exhibition, Infinite Existence, in Singapore ahead of its flagship Gardens by the Bay museum.
teamLab recently opened its doors with teamLab Phenomenon in Abu Dhabi in 2025, and now it’s making its way to Singapore. While the Lion City waits for its own flagship teamLab museum at Gardens by the Bay, set to open in 2028, something is coming much sooner. Before the permanent museum opens, teamLab is hosting its first solo exhibition in Singapore titled teamLab: Infinite Existence.
teamLab: Infinite Existence is a limited-time exhibition that will take over Supper House in Singapore from 19 September to 8 November 2026, bringing eight immersive and dynamic works together under one roof. It’s a chance to get a taste of teamLab’s surreal, ever-changing worlds before the flagship museum opens in 2028.
teamLab: Infinite Existence explores the idea of blurring the boundaries between the real world and the artwork. The Singapore exhibition is the collective’s concept of “ultrasubjective space”. The idea takes inspiration from pre-modern East Asian paintings, particularly narrative scrolls and painted screens, where viewers aren’t necessarily confined to a single, fixed perspective.
Instead, visitors are encouraged to move through the artworks and experience them from different viewpoints. Scenes and perspectives can overlap, connect, and transform depending on where you stand. You’re not simply looking at the artwork; you’re part of it too.
Across the eight installations, expect tigers, flowers, waves and waterfalls, alongside imagery inspired by mythology, human civilisation and the natural world. The works are designed to shift and evolve as you move through the space, moving an important part of the experience. Rather than treating each installation as a standalone artwork, Infinite Existence uses the concept of “ultrasubjective space” to blur the boundaries among them, creating a continuous and interconnected world.
Of course, technology plays a major role in teamLab’s work, but Infinite Existence isn’t simply about flashy digital effects. The exhibition puts the human experience at its centre, using immersive art to explore nature, history, civilisation and our place within the world.
