The Rose is bidding farewell following their debut performance in Singapore and has announced concert dates for their upcoming Asia tour, ROSETOPIA.
The faces of the Korean contemporary indie rock scene, The Rose, have announced a Singapore date for their ROSETOPIA Asia Tour 2026. On 27 October 2026, the quartet will be taking the stage at The Star Theatre for a one-night-only performance, with tickets going on sale at noon from 4 August.
Just as the concert notes the first-ever performance by The Rose in Singapore, ROSETOPIA also promises to be an emotionally charged affair for their fanbase; the BLACK ROSE. While addressing news of ROSETOPIA, the boyband hinted at an upcoming hiatus by sharing the following statement, “With our upcoming album ROSE and the tour ‘ROSETOPIA’, we want to close this chapter with you the way it deserves. After this, we will be taking a break. Not as an ending, but as a moment to breathe… To grow… And to find ourselves again, individually.”
The Rose first entered the pop culture consciousness with the release of their single “Sorry” back in 2017, which earned them international recognition, a valuable spot on the Billboard charts, and a sold-out European tour from London to Moscow. Their continued success is further fuelled by their acclaimed album DUAL, with its lead single “Back To Me” having been streamed more than 90 million times on Spotify to date.
Outside of their performances as a group, members of The Rose have explored personal endeavours in the creative space. Most notably, its lead vocalist Woosung collaborated with Suga of BTS and the late Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto on a critically and commercially successful song titled “Snooze” in 2023.
Since their breakthrough, The Rose has managed to pull off a number of outstanding milestones, including headlining at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and more of music’s biggest dates. As The Rose closes this latest chapter in their journey, ROSETOPIA might mean the final opportunity to meet its members as a group for the foreseeable future.
