Australian artist CJ Hendry brings her viral Flower Market installation to Singapore for the very first time.

Australian artist CJ Hendry is bringing her much-loved Flower Market installation to Singapore for the first time. After drawing crowds in New York, Hong Kong, Sydney and Abu Dhabi, the colourful concept will make its Singapore debut from 10 to 14 June 2026 at the IMBA Theatre gallery space, located within the Gardens by the Bay precinct.
Open for just five days, CJ Hendry’s Flower Market is shaping up to be one of the most photogenic things to do in Singapore this June. The free-to-enter installation transforms a gallery into a greenhouse-style setting filled with thousands of plush flowers, inviting visitors to step inside a world where art, design and play come together.
Known for creating large-scale experiences that encourage audience participation, CJ Hendry has designed Flower Market as more than a traditional exhibition. Rather than simply viewing the artwork from a distance, visitors are invited to walk through the installation, move among the blooms and take part in the experience.
The centrepiece is a vibrant field of plush flowers featuring more than 30 varieties. Each visitor will receive one complimentary plush flower on entry, while additional stems will be available to purchase for S$7 each. Guests can build their own bouquet, choose their favourite colours and take home a playful keepsake from the installation.
The Singapore edition will also include a local twist. Special flower designs have been created in tribute to native and national flora, including the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower. Visitors can also look out for plush versions of the Raffles’ Pitcher Plant and the Singapore Ginger Flower, adding a destination-specific detail to the travelling installation.
Entry to CJ Hendry’s Flower Market in Singapore is free, with advance registration encouraged. No admission ticket is required, making it an accessible addition to the city’s June calendar.
