The mother-daughter duo has now opened a permanent fixture of Tiap Tiap.

Tiap Tiap in Singapore is one of the Lion City’s most-loved heritage food brands and has officially opened its very first physical storefront. The opening marks six years since the founder,, Sophia Yeow began the concept from her home kitchen.

Created by Sophia Yeow and her daughter, Nicole Lan, Tiap Tiap began as a two-product home-delivery service in Singapore during COVID-19. Slowly building a loyal following through word of mouth around the local community, Tiap Tiap became a fan favourite in Singapore throughout the pandemic. Today, the concept has opened its very first permanent home in the beloved neighbourhoods of Katong and Joo Chiat.

The menu focuses on staple dessert items like Pandam Chiffon Cake, Ondeh Ondeh Cake, Banoffee Pie, and Chocolate Cream Cake. Savoury dishes include paper-wrapped chicken, Teochew ngoh hiang, Nyonya curry midwings, and seafood yuteow, all made from fresh ingredients. Such dishes are sold frozen with cooking instructions included – Tiap Tiap’s solution to a busy home life, making Singaporean classics accessible to the masses.

The shop’s snack counter features bits like fish keropok made with mackerel, hand-stirred Nyonya kaya, and DIY muah chee designed to be eaten cold, again allowing customers to store it in the fridge at home.

Sophia Yeow, Co-Founder and CEO of Tiap Tiap. said: “We designed our store to be an extension of our home. Guests who have joined us for our private dining experience at Butterfly Table will recognise that every piece of china we serve you in and every feature of the space carries a piece of our family home. We want Tiap Tiap to be this kind of place, where you return not because you have to, but because it feels like coming home.”
