V joins Charli XCX and The Weeknd as a global brand ambassador for the London-based tech giant Nothing.

If it seems like Kim Taehyung, better known by his stage persona V of the K-pop sensation BTS, is everywhere, that is because he practically is. Beyond his global endorsements with luxury brands such as Celine and Cartier, and his role as the face of Coca-Cola Korea and Compose Coffee, V now joins the ranks of Charli XCX and The Weeknd as the latest ambassador for Nothing.

Announced with a campaign featuring Nothing’s soon-to-be-launched Headphone (1) Pro, the BTS frontman stars in a campaign by photographer Dorothea Sing Zhang, sporting the London-based tech company’s newest products, including the Headphone (1) and Ear (3).

“I’m excited to be part of this bold new chapter with Nothing,” says V about his appointment. “Headphone (1) Pro is a design grounded in creative expression, and I look forward to our journey together.”

“V has an instinct for fearless experimentation. He’s always pushing into different sounds and styles — he follows his creative instincts, not tried-and-tested formulas, and that’s exactly what we wanted to capture with Headphone (1) Pro,” shares Carl Pei, Co-Founder and CEO of Nothing. “We’ve built it to give people more freedom and flexibility in everyday listening. V was the perfect choice as we define technical excellence for the next generation of creatives.”

Of course, V’s appeal extends far beyond his stage presence and musical credentials. Alongside his BTS bandmates, he has developed a rather formidable reputation for turning anything he touches into an immediate sell-out. Affectionately dubbed the “Sold Out Kings” by fans and observers, the group has made product scarcity something of an unofficial speciality.

The phenomenon is hardly new. In 2025, after announcing his ambassadorship with Japanese skincare label Yunth, products featured in his official campaign reportedly disappeared from shelves within 24 hours. His wardrobe has proved equally influential, with pieces from Celine, FILA, and Tom Ford among the fashion finds that have promptly vanished from shopping carts and retail racks after appearing on the star.

So, if Nothing’s Headphone (1) Pro has caught your eye, consider this a friendly reminder that V’s endorsement comes with a potentially inconvenient side effect: an exceptionally short window between wanting something and discovering everyone else wants it too.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is now available online and at selected retailers worldwide.
