FACT Review: Sky-high relaxation for gents at Ciel Spa

Decked out in neutral tones, bronze accents and plenty of potted foliage, this chic spa features seven treatment rooms, plunge pools, herbal steam rooms and experience showers. There’s even a hair and nail salon, a fully-equipped fitness centre, and two outdoor terraces, ensuring that guests’ beauty and fitness needs are well and truly cared for. 

With March dedicated to International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day, Ciel Spa honours both occasions with gusto whilst also offering a little something for gents. On Tuesdays, gentlemen are invited to partake in a specially curated spa package just for them. Following a welcome drink of refreshing hibiscus tea, gents can indulge in a 90-minute treatment formulated solely with men’s skin in mind.

The spa experience begins in one of the tranquil treatment rooms, designed in bright white tones that feels comforting without being clinical. Here garbed in a plush robe and slippers, begins a 30-minute body scrub to exfoliate dead cells, unclog pores and stimulate skin cell turnover. The result is noticeably smoother, brighter skin.

The body scrub is followed in quick succession by a 60-minute Gentlemen’s Tonic Facial. The perfect antidote to the stresses of the outside world, the facial has been purposefully designed for men’s skin using naturally derived ingredients to leave the skin deeply cleansed and feeling soft.

All guests also receive complimentary access to the chilled pools and spa facilities pre or post-treatment and a botanical cocktail in the relaxation room to end the day in style.
