Greek Independence Day is celebrated annually on 25 March, commemorating the start of the War of Greek Independence in 1821. While towns and villages throughout Greece will hold a school flag parade, OPA at Fairmont Dubai will be showing diners a smashing good time with a special dinner service. 

Guests will be treated to an evening of Greek customs, complete with live entertainment, Zorba dancing and the smashing of plates!

But, of course, it wouldn’t be OPA dessert, and the OPA Sundae is quite literally the stuff of dreams!Featuring a phyllo pastry cup filled with pistachio cream, caramel and Greek yoghurt ice cream, topped with pieces of baklava and smashed pistachios. 

As the evening unfolds, expect signature beverages crafted with the finest quality ingredients and an extensive selection of grapes to lift spirits for an evening of frivolous fun.
