This February, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort have curated three truly extraordinary experiences designed to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Guests can indulge in a delectable culinary tour of Southeast Asian cuisine or rejuvenate with bespoke couples spa treatments.
Valentine’s Dinner at Sontaya
Sontaya, meaning sunset in Thai, offers the perfect excuse to enjoy glorious sunset views while sipping on bubbles this Valentine’s Day. Offering a romantic backdrop complemented by floating pavilions and spellbinding entertainment, couples are invited to embark on a culinary journey through Southeast Asia, starting with a romantic welcome drink at the scenic rooftop bar, Lemoni Garden by Sontaya followed by a delightful four-course menu within the chic atmosphere of the restaurant or al fresco on the terrace. The romance-inspired meal includes oysters with soy tiger’s milk, lobster with chilli jam, tom kha soup, stir-fried sea bass in hot and spicy sauce, traditional Thai green curry with chicken, and chargrilled wagyu steak with bok choy and steamed rice. The meal ends with a buttermilk rosemary Crémeux, lychee granite and raspberry rose iced tea.

The ‘Perfect Pair’ Hot Stone Treatment at Iridium Spa
Couples can embark on an unforgettable spa journey with the ‘Perfect Pair’ Hot Stone Treatment at Iridium Spa. Begin with a soothing foot ritual in a romantic couples’ treatment room before unwinding with a personalised 75-minute hot stone massage. The gentle heat of the smooth stones is used to warm and loosen the muscles, ease tissue tension, and enhance blood flow, creating a warm and comforting sensation that brings balance throughout the body. The spa experience concludes with a 15-minute facial massage, ensuring a revitalising experience through thorough cleansing, toning and exfoliation.

Iridium Spa has created a special spa ritual specifically for couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The rejuvenating’ Exquisite Spa Date for Two’ takes place in one of the luxurious couples’ treatment rooms and begins with a detoxifying Himalayan foot ritual, followed by a full-body candle massage to stimulate the senses. The 60-minute massage is designed to refresh the body, calm the mind, and leave couples feeling thoroughly relaxed. After the transformational ritual, unwind with decadent truffle chocolates and sparkling drinks on the picturesque spa terrace before spending time at the resort’s pristine private beach or by the outdoor swimming pool.
