Entitled ‘ABnormal’, it is dedicated to a different episode each month and proudly deviates from what is expected.

Taking place on the last Thursday of each month, ‘ABnormal’ will kick off on 29 September with ‘Omakase’. And as its name suggests, diners will take a seat at Akira Back’s sushi counter and simply leave things up to the chef. As for what will follow? A culinary adventure of three delicious starters, a 12-piece sushi set, miso soup and dessert – with premium sake pairing to boot. ‘ABnormal’ is priced at AED 899 per person.

The Dubai outpost of Akira Back, named after the celebrity chef and restauranteur behind the concept is a restaurant entirely in keeping with the young and audacious W brand. Akira Back is famed not only for its unique take on Japanese cuisine, but also for its uber-stylish setting.
