OPA’s popular summer brunch is back

With the return of summer – and our relentless sense of wanderlust – comes the relaunch of a popular offering at OPA: Summer Edition Brunch. The Mediterranean restaurant has set out to create a culinary experience that will transport diners to the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea, bringing together the best of its famous Hellenic cuisine and celebratory entertainment.
Kicking off on 25 June, the brunch will only take place twice a month, on Saturdays, throughout the summer. Guests can expect delicious food made with passion and rooted in tradition, with sharing-style appetisers featuring the likes of crispy lamb hummus, tzatziki, and spicy feta alongside traditional Greek salads, homemade meat pie, tangy tuna tartare and different types of cheese. Diners can then move on to the main courses. Here awaits a choice of a whole fresh roasted Sea Bass, a grilled marinated Chicken Kontosouvli served with a side salad and Greek potato chips or a lush Lobster Orzo with tomato sauce & seaweed butter – all of which can be savoured with a side of Feta Fries or Grilled Vegetables.
Finally, because no trip to OPA is complete without a sweet touch to end the Greek feast, the Summer Edition Brunch will include a selection of desserts to tantalise the taste buds. Guests can pick between OPA’s beloved Baklava Sundae (served in a crispy filo cup filled with pistachio cream and Greek yoghurt ice cream), Portokalopita (another Greek yoghurt ice cream with candied pistachio and wild cherries), or Milopita (a spiced apple, crispy phyllo served with vanilla ice cream and toasted almonds).
OPA’s new brunch will host a total of nine editions, allowing those unable to leave the city to immerse themselves in the essence of a Greek summer. Diners are invited to allow the spirit of freedom roam free with Greek show performances, Zorba dances, and smashing plates accompanied by signature beverages crafted with the finest quality. The brunch starts at AED 375 for basic packages and AED 425 for premium packages, with limited seating taking place twice a month.
