Located on Bluewaters Island beneath the world’s largest observation wheel, The Pods have transformed the notion of luxury dining in Dubai. Perfect for private business meetings, romantic dinners, family get-togethers or a socially distanced dinner with your bubble, the 23 Pods come in different sizes, seating up to six, eight and 14 people. There is also a restaurant that can accommodate 24 diners. With space for a total of 176 diners at a time, The Pods boasts a dining experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the city.

The Pods serve an exquisite fusion of Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine that is executed with a deft modern touch. The menu of Pan-Asian dishes features a range of appealing choices to suit every palate and preference, including rock lobsters with truffle, Korean chicken bao, an assortment of maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi, dim sums and gyozas. Moreish main courses such as Thai green curry, Sichuan beef and lobster pad Thai should not be missed, whilst a selection of dishes lavishly adorned with 24 karat gold leaf awaits the most decadent of diners.

Bringing the inside outdoors, each air-conditioned glass pod is home to lush decor, an abundance of vegetation, a large central table and plush sofas. Better yet, a private butler service is appointed to each pod.

From the outside, the Instagrammable pods look like an illusion, clustered close to the bridge that connects JBR to Bluewaters Dubai. The result is enviable vistas across the beachfront and Dubai Marina’s towering skyline of glittering skyscrapers.
