With the weather still on side and outdoor season far from over, Expo City Dubai is giving families another reason to head outside. Launching on 25 April 2026, The Great Outdoors is a new multi-weekend festival presented by Brag, and FACT Magazine is proud to support the event as its official media partner.
Running across five weekends, The Great Outdoors is designed as an all-ages experience that brings together entertainment, activities and food in one lively setting. Set across three venues at Expo City Dubai, the festival caters to families, friendship groups and even pet owners looking for something different to do in the city.
At Al Forsan Park, the atmosphere is set to be relaxed and social. Think picnic-style lounging, a laid-back beer garden and plenty of space to unwind outdoors. It is also one of the festival’s most pet-friendly zones, with an off-leash Doggy Park where dogs can roam freely, plus a grooming truck for a quick refresh. For those who prefer a more active day out, the park will also feature arcade-style entertainment and fitness classes, as well as the Energy Camp outdoor gaming zone, which promises challenges for all ages.
Over at the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre, Saturdays will take on a cinematic feel. The venue will host open-air movie nights under the stars, offering a more easy-going way to spend the evening with family and friends. It is the kind of setup that invites guests to settle in, pick up snacks and enjoy a classic outdoor film experience in one of Dubai’s most distinctive venues.
Jubilee Park brings the festival’s high-energy side. This is where younger visitors can let loose, with the headline attraction being the Monster Inflatable, billed as the world’s largest inflatable obstacle course. Designed for climbing, sliding and bouncing, it adds a strong sense of adventure to the programme. There is also a Paw Patrol driving experience that gives little ones the chance to step into a familiar animated universe.
Across all three venues, guests can expect a curated mix of food trucks and kiosks serving crowd-pleasing dishes, snacks and grab-and-go favourites. Whether you are planning a full family day out or simply dropping by for a film and a bite to eat, The Great Outdoors looks set to deliver one of the season’s most varied outdoor experiences.
