This new brunch is essentially one big party

SPONSORED: The Jealous Brunch is hosted by Envy every Saturday afternoon.

Beaches, humidity, trendy eateries, flashy sports cars, and plenty of glitz – it’s easy to see why people constantly compare Dubai and Miami. And while the coastal city’s appeal is undeniable, is it really worth the 16-hour flight? Hint: no. After all, Th8 Palm is now open for brunch.

Jealous Brunch

See-and-be-seen is practically its own genre when it comes to brunches in Dubai, with the recently launched ‘Jealous Brunch’ at Envy fitting in nicely in no time. The signature restaurant of trendy resort Th8 Palm, it starts the weekend with a bang, inviting free-spirited partygoers to dance the weekend away in true Miami style every Saturday afternoon.

Jealous Brunch

The Insta-worthy buffet set-up houses everything from mezze platters, delectable cheeses, and a fresh variety of salads to a show-stopping carving station serving juicy herb-and-pepper grilled salmon and slow-roasted beef rump. Elsewhere, global favourites (a hearty Thai green curry and succulent oven-roasted lamb with mint jus included) are on offer. Walk into the special observatory, and you’ll be greeted by an endless selection of sweet treats such as a chocolate fountain, delicate macaroons, a selection of dessert tacos and more. To top it off, a live oyster station is placed on the open terrace, where abject decadence comes in the form of freshly shucked oysters and bubbly. As for the panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai Marina skyline? Just the proverbial cherry on top.

Jealous Brunch

Taking place from 1pm to 5pm, ‘Jealous Brunch’ is clearly a vibrant addition to Dubai’s brunch scene as live music by a cool saxophonist and tracks spun by DJ Colione are paired with four hours of unbelievable food and drinks, collectively making for the ultimate weekend bash. It’s priced at AED 399 for the buffet selection and house beverages (including bubbly, a selection of grape, hops and spirits) and AED 250 for buffet selection and soft beverages. For those looking to keep the party going, Envy invites guests to head down to the beach with friends in tow for a cracking after-party, complete with breathtaking sunset views and live music by R&B singer-songwriter Jaymie Deville of The X Factor fame.
