Avobar is a cosy café for avocado enthusiasts boasting a bright indoor dining area and a welcoming alfresco terrace, this haven to all things avocado offers a menu of nutritious, healthy snacks and drinks. The creative avocado-based options are made from garden-fresh ingredients, including coconut, avocado and yoghurt chia bowls, avocado cottage cheese toast, turkey and avocado sandwiches, and guilt-free chocolate avocado fudge brownies. Avobar also specialises in fresh and creative beverages, such as Berry Delight, Orange Blush and Avolicious, with the option to make-your-own protein shakes too. Avobar is open daily from 12pm to 9pm.

The Grape Escape at Sontaya
Sontaya, meaning sunset in Thai, offers the perfect excuse to enjoy glorious sunset views while dining on some of the best Thai food the capital has to offer. The picturesque Southeast Asian Restaurant will host a special dinner that fuses modern Southeast Asian dishes paired with grapes and cocktails with floating pavilions to set the tone for an exquisite meal. ‘The Grape Escape’ spans five courses of aromatic dishes, starting with a delicate amuse-bouche platter followed with tuna tartare, spiced Thai slaw salad, char-grilled pandan chicken and black pepper shrimp skewers. The mains will feature flat iron steak and confit duck red curry, while the uplifting evening concludes with a sweet and decadent choconut dessert. Wednesday 16 March, from 7pm to 10pm. Mother’s Day Week at Iridium Spa
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Iridium Spa has curated a therapeutic, full-body pampering experience for mothers and grandmothers. The treatment begins with a cleansing full-body scrub before the expert therapists deliver a blissful tension-relieving massage. The journey concludes with a bespoke facial, seamlessly customised to suit every guest’s skin and leave their complexion smooth and glowing. Available Monday 21 March to Friday 25 March, from 11am to 10pm Monday to Thursday, and 10am to 11pm Friday to Sunday. AED 1,100 per person (150-minute treatment).

‘Special For Her‘ at Iridium Spa
Throughout March, Iridium Spa is treating ladies to 90-minutes of blissful relaxation. Created to celebrate Mother’s Day and all the strong and powerful women of Abu Dhabi, the ‘Special For Her’ treatment begins with a revitalising signature foot ritual, followed by a customised massage to suit each ladies’ needs. The peaceful experience concludes with a 30-minute luxury treatment of choice. Ladies are then invited to unwind in the Iridium Room and enjoy a platter of fresh fruits with a refreshing juice or calming loose leaf hot tea.
