The world’s biggest sports entertainment spectacle is leaving North America for the first time.
Wrestling fans in Saudi Arabia have a new date to circle. After years of blockbuster shows across the Kingdom, WrestleMania 43 will be hosted in Riyadh in 2027, marking the first time the event will be staged outside of North America. The event will anchor the city’s annual Riyadh Season, bringing star power, spectacle, and live entertainment to the capital.
The announcement arrives on the heels of a record-breaking WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas earlier this year. It also builds on a partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia that began in 2018. Since then, local crowds have experienced a run of headline events that includes Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber, King and Queen of the Ring, Night of Champions, and live editions of Raw and SmackDown. The momentum continues before the big night arrives, with Riyadh confirmed to host the 39th annual Royal Rumble in January 2026.
WrestleMania unfolds as a multi-day spectacle that takes over the host city. Fans can expect a stacked programme of experiences, including Friday Night SmackDown, Monday Night Raw, NXT showcases, fan meet-and-greets, and community initiatives that bring the action beyond the ring. The week culminates in an arena-shaking main event that draws global attention and typically delivers career-defining moments.
Riyadh Season has grown into the region’s largest entertainment celebration since its launch in 2019. The city-wide programme brings together A-list athletes, celebrity chefs, and international music acts across dedicated zones, pop-ups, and headline stages. Adding WrestleMania to the 2027 calendar signals the continued rise of Saudi Arabia’s live entertainment landscape and positions the capital as a must-visit destination for fans from across the world.
If late-night Channel 2 memories have already been rekindled by WWE’s growing presence in the Kingdom, prepare for the next chapter with WrestleMania 43 Riyadh.
