Yas Marina Circuit will host the final race of the F1 2025 season

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to close out the F1 season in December next year.

Abu Dhabi, rev up your engines because the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is returning to UAE. The dates for the 2025 edition of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have been revealed, and Yas Marina Circuit is set to host the season finale from 5 to 7 December 2025.

The official announcement from Formula One Management confirms the Abu Dhabi track will host the final race of the 2025 season which will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix on 16 March 2025. It then takes fans on a thrilling tour across five continents — including UAE neighbours such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 marks the 15th visit of Formula One to the Yas Marina Circuit. It’s renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, world-class hospitality and breathtaking views, proving to be a pivotal stop on the Formula One circuit since 2009. Yas Marina Circuit is also expected to host the races until 2030.

But Formula One isn’t just about the racing — it’s also a celebration of music and entertainment. Over the years, Abu Dhabi has played host to an impressive lineup of international stars, including Beyonce, Chris Brown, Eminem, Rihanna, The Weeknd, and Usher. While details of the 2025 concert series are still under wraps, we can’t wait to hear who’ll be performing at the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025.

For those new to the world of Formula One, the 2025 season marks the 75th anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Each Grand Prix weekend offers three days of non-stop action — both on and off the track.

“Following Formula One Management’s announcement, we are delighted that Yas Marina Circuit will once again welcome the sport’s global fanbase to the season finale here in Abu Dhabi from 5 to 8 December, 2024,” says Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara. “As this year has shown, Formula 1 continues to grow with every race weekend, and tickets for our race weekend this year are already selling out. We encourage any fans eager to enjoy this year’s race to secure their seat soon, and ask them to keep an eye out for exciting announcements on 2024’s race weekend coming later this year.”

But first, we have the upcoming 2024 edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to look forward to. This year’s race weekend runs from 6 to 8 December and is set to break records both on and off the track, with plans in place to increase capacity and ensure fans can experience it in a variety of ways on Yas Island.

Tickets for 2025, meanwhile, are set to go on sale later this year.
