Topgolf Dubai adds two family-friendly attractions to its fun-fuelled experiences

An interactive Andy Birds game and Mini Golf are now available at the family-friendly attraction.

Family-friendly attraction Topgolf Dubai opened at Emirates Golf Club in January this year and encourages a no holds barred attitude to fun. With no prior golfing knowledge required, the 60,000 square ft, three-level mega-entertainment venue has added two new attractions to its collection of 96 climate-controlled hitting bays.

First on the agenda is a new interactive Angry Birds game, which is being introduced to Dubai players following unprecedented success in the USA. Using Topgolf’s Toptracer ball-tracking technology, players can play Angry Birds in real life, using popular characters from the Angry Birds franchise to demolish structures and defeat enemies while earning stars and points. Upon hitting the golf ball, which takes on the form of Angry Birds characters Red or Bomb, they will take flight in the hope of causing mayhem and destruction. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

FACT’s initial reports on the opening of TopGolf Dubai mentioned The Bunker Minigolf and Café. An immersive minigolf experience paying homage to all things sport, including racecar driving, cricket, falconry, tennis, horse racing, cycling, rugby, soccer and golf. The child-friendly nine-hole putt-putt experience is now open and takes over the right-wing of the venues ground floor. It allows for groups of up to six people to play for only AED 60 per round for the entire group.

In addition to these two new family-centric experiences, you can still enjoy the high-tech interactive games in the hitting bays, in addition to American-style comfort food and a generous selection of chilled beverages and a casual atmosphere.

If you haven’t already visited the first sporting destination of its kind in the region, it’s definitely tee-time.
