Where to watch Eid fireworks in the UAE

Celebrate Eid with a bang across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Have a blast this Eid Al Fitr and watch fireworks shows across the UAE. As Ramadan comes to an end, there will be dazzling displays across the country. Watch the night’s sky light up at beaches, promenades and theme parks. 

Eid Al Fitr marks the end of fasting during Ramadan. Eid Al Fitr is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, and falls on the tenth month of the Muslim lunar calendar. Eid is currently predicted to take place on 21 April, but the dates have not yet been confirmed. So, if you want to join the celebrations, here are the best Eid fireworks in the UAE. 

Abu Dhabi Corniche, Abu Dhabi 

Abu Dhabi Corniche is a spectacular spot to celebrate Eid. Visitors have more than 8 kilometres of cafés and restaurants to choose from, which offer double-tap views of the fireworks. The fireworks take place at 9pm on April 21.


Al Mugheirah Bay, Al Dhafra

If you’re after an adventure this Eid, travel 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi to Al Dhafra. Here, the desert meets the sea and you can watch the skies light up over Khor Al Bazim lagoon. The fireworks take place at 9pm on April 21.


Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBRDubai

Catch Insta-worthy views of Ain Dubai at this firework show in Dubai. Walk along the promenade or head to one of the restaurants, from Alici to London Project, for a drink and display. The fireworks take place on the second night of Eid at 9pm. 


Dubai Parks and Resorts, Riverland, Dubai 

Dubai Parks and Resorts has rides aplenty, which offer a fun family day out. Come for the rides and stay for the fireworks. The fireworks take place on 22 April from 7pm and 9pm, and entry is free. 


Global Village, Dubai 

Global Village is packed with family-friendly fun, and it is turned up a notch at Eid. As the park closes on 22 April, it ends with a bang. The fireworks display takes place on 21 April at 9pm, and entry costs AED 20. 


Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi 

During the year, Hazza bin Zayed Stadium is home to Al Ain FC of the UAE Pro-League. The open-air stadium covers more than 480,000 square feet. At Eid, it put on a brilliant firework show. The firework display takes place on 21 April at 9pm.


Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi 

Get your adventure fix at Hudayriyat Island – we’re talking thrill seeking sports, from cycling trails to skateboarding. Then reward yourself with music, parades and a fabulous firework display on 22 April at 9pm.


Jumeirah Beach, Dubai

If you want an iconic fireworks display, head to Jumeirah Beach. The sky lights up with an array of colours, all with Burj Al Arab in the background. The firework display takes place on 21 April at 9pm, and entry is free. 


Yas Island, Abu Dhabi 

Yas Island hosts one of the biggest Eid celebrations in the capital. Get there early and take your pick from the bars, cafés and restaurants, which offer a front-row view of the fireworks. The fireworks take place on the first two days of Eid at 9pm.
