Enjoy an Indian culinary pop up on Yas Island
Known for its elevated Indian cuisine, The Crossing will be hosting a culinary pop-up at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island in celebration of IIFA. The Crossing’s appealing menu features food from the Rajput kitchens, hidden gems from northeast India and robust yet straightforward recipes from India’s coastline. In addition to traditional favourites, The Crossing presents a series of unique dishes not usually found in Indian restaurants that spotlight foreign influences from the Caribbean, Portugal, France and Great Britain that have historically found their way into Indian cuisine. Have afternoon tea at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi
This spring, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the timeless St. Regis ritual of Afternoon Tea at Crystal Lounge. The Classic Afternoon Tea features an array of traditional British recipes such as smoked salmon and crème fraiche sandwiches and lemon meringue tarts, whilst the Arabic-style afternoon tea includes sumac scented chicken with harissa mayonnaise sandwiches, saffron and cardamom scones and dainty bites inspired by the authentic tastes and flavours of the UAE. La Cava’s Saturday breakfast is finally back! Savour an English breakfast complete with bacon and eggs within Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s cosy cellar. Dine with acclaimed chef Jitin Joshi at Rangoli
Following a fully-booked Chef’s Table at Rangoli Restaurant, Chef Jitin Joshi will return to the capital to prepare a special five-course menu for International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend. Expect puffed wild rice bhel, watermelon with whipped feta and masala peanuts, artichoke and sweet potato chaat, charred lamb chop, 12-hour wagyu rib and gulab jamun brioche pudding to be served. Ready for the summer, the FACT award-winning ‘Best Cafe’ in Abu Dhabi reopens its doors following a recent refresh.
