Celebrate the Italian festival of Ferragosto

Throughout August, the FACT award-winning Scalini will celebrate the Italian festival of Ferragosto with a specially curated. Scalini’s special plates capture the serenity of summer in Italia. They include Astice Alla Catalana (succulent lobster served with crunchy celery, red onions, and cherry tomatoes), Calamarata Con Ragu Di Polpo (Neapolitan style pasta with octopus ragout, drizzled with Amalfi lemon and fresh basil), and Emilia Romagna (grilled monkfish with glazed Moderna’s balsamic vinegar). End the festivities on a sweet note with Italian-style doughnuts or the semifreddo al pistachio, crowned with raspberry and white chocolate. Available daily until 31st August, from 12pm.

Party at a Latin American Night Brunch

DESEO, the Latin American-inspired restaurant at ME Dubai, will launch a new night brunch this weekend. Here, guests can enjoy a selection of authentic Latin flavours, including Maiz Maiz (a sweet corn dish), beef or cheese Empanadas and El Mar Y La Tierra (grilled Wagyu steak). To round off the brunch, visitors may indulge in the signature dessert platter featuring Tres Leches and the Instagrammable Pina Colada Ice Cream. Saturdays, from 8pm to 11pm.
