Continue celebrating International Women’s Day

Jumeirah Al Qasr’s Pierchic has the kind of romantic setting that makes us swoon. This week, it is celebrating Italian women in honour of International Women’s Day. Head chef, Beatrice Segoni, has created a limited-edition set menu, which is inspired by the country’s inspirational female leaders. The dishes include black cod livornese, chicken plin cacciatora, and zucchini flowers filled with ricotta and spinach. We love that it hasn’t gone for the obvious celebrities, instead Physician Maria Montessori, Neurologist Rita Levi Montalcini and Scientist Margherita Hack. The lunch and dinner menus are available until 12 March and start from AED 500 per person.

Born in California, he originally intended to pursue a career in football. After suffering from a shoulder injury, the sport’s loss was the music industry’s gain. Dance to DJ Nesta at Indochine

Acclaimed DJ Nesta has cemented himself as one of the tastemakers in Beirut’s clubbing scene. After heading to London to hone his sound engineering skills back in 2013, Nesta devised his alter ego “Technophile”, bringing out the twisted, melancholic side of his music and allowing him to delve into more experimental frequencies. A decade later, Nesta continues to create a versatile spectrum of music that stays true to his house beginnings. See what all the fuss is about with a night to remember amidst Indochine’s tropical decor this weekend. Saturday 11 March, from 9pm to 3am.
