Now in its highly anticipated third edition, Abu Dhabi Comedy Season 2026 is taking over Etihad Arena in October and November, bringing some of the biggest names in international comedy to the UAE capital. Following two hugely successful editions and a string of sold-out shows, this popular Abu Dhabi comedy festival is back with an even bigger lineup of global comedy stars and unforgettable nights of laughter. Morgan Jay: 11 October 2026
Etihad Arena is in for a night of laughs and live music as LA-based comedian and musician Morgan Jay takes the stage at the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season. Known for his appearances on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, NBC, and Comedy Central—and for his viral videos across social media—Morgan brings a fresh twist to stand-up. With his guitar in hand and razor-sharp timing, his shows are a hilarious blend of storytelling, improv, and sing-along moments that regularly blur the line between a comedy set and a concert.
Russell Peters: 25 October 2026
Russell Peters is heading back to Abu Dhabi, marking a major comedy moment for the capital this autumn. The show promises a no-holds-barred night that has made Russell Peters a household name across continents. Whether he’s dissecting everyday life or turning audience interactions into the punchline, his sets are famously unpredictable, delivered with the pace and precision of someone who has spent decades perfecting his craft. He made history as the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, London’s O2 Arena and New York’s Madison Square Garden, cementing his status as a global touring force long before streaming specials became the norm.
Mo Amer: 6 November 2026
Palestinian-American comedian and Netflix favourite Mo Amer will make his way to Etihad Arena for the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season. Marking his return to the UAE, Mo Amer made his Dubai debut with the Dubai Comedy Festival in 2020, followed by another gig in 2025. His stand-up material digs deep into themes of fatherhood, fame, and identity, with the same candid, culturally charged storytelling that has made him a household name. Expect brutally honest observations, unexpected tenderness, and explosive punchlines delivered with charisma and bite.
Maz Jobrani: 7 November 2026
American comedian Maz Jobrani was previously part of the Axis of Evil comedy group. He starred in the comedy film Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, which he co-wrote and co-produced. He has also appeared on TV shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Grey’s Anatomy, Last Man Standing and Shameless. He has also shared a stand-up comedy special on Netflix, Immigrant. Not only has the Iranian-American comic made appearances in television’s most popular shows, but he’s also an LA Times best-selling author. Plus, he previously performed at the White House.
Paul Smith: 31 January 2027
British comedian Paul Smith is heading to Abu Dhabi as part of the capital’s comedy season. Taking over Etihad Arena on 31 January 2027, the Liverpool favourite is known for his quick wit, sharp storytelling and famously unpredictable crowd work. A regular headliner at Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club, Smith has become an online sensation, with clips of his audience interactions attracting millions of views. His spontaneous style means no two performances are ever quite the same, and Abu Dhabi audiences could easily find themselves becoming part of the punchline.
Whitney Cummings: 31 January 2027
Whitney Cummings is heading to the capital for Abu Dhabi Comedy Season, bringing her sharp wit and fearless humour to the stage. Best known as the creator and star of Whitney and co-creator of 2 Broke Girls, the American comedian has built a career on candid takes on relationships, modern life and everything in between. She has released six stand-up specials and hosts the hugely popular Good For You podcast, where her unfiltered conversations have attracted a loyal following. With a reputation for quick-fire observations and brutally funny honesty, Whitney Cummings’ Abu Dhabi show promises a night of big laughs from one of comedy’s most distinctive voices.
