Formula 1 weekend in Abu Dhabi has added another chart-topping name to its entertainment programme. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Alex Warren will perform at Etihad Live on Friday, 4 December 2026, as part of the Yasalam presented by e& festival during the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Warren joins an already stacked programme surrounding the season-ending Formula 1 weekend. Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson will perform on Thursday, 3 December 2026; Imagine Dragons take over on Saturday, 5 December 2026, while The Chainsmokers and The Script will share headline duties on Sunday, 6 December 2026. Warren forms one half of Friday night’s double-bill, with another global artist still to be announced.
Held at Yas Marina Circuit from 4 to 6 December, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has evolved into one of the UAE’s biggest weekends for live entertainment, pairing high-speed racing with international music stars. Access to the After-Race Concerts is exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders.
Warren’s arrival comes during a remarkable period in his career. The American singer first built a sizeable online following before turning his attention towards music, where his emotionally direct songwriting and powerful vocals quickly found a global audience.
His breakthrough accelerated with tracks including “Burning Down”, “Carry You Home” and “Bloodline”, but it was “Ordinary” that transformed him into a mainstream pop star. Released in 2025, the song spent 10 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and 13 weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart.
The success helped propel his debut studio album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, into the top five in the United States following its expanded release in July 2025. The album later earned platinum certification, while Warren’s rise was further recognised with a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Music will take over Yas Island throughout race week. Andrea Bocelli will bring his Romanza tour to Etihad Arena on Wednesday, 2 December 2026, while Anyma will headline the Official After-Party at Yas Gateway Park on Friday, 4 December 2026. CamelPhat and Black Coffee will also perform at Circle at 16/360 at Yas Marina Circuit on 5 and 6 December 2026.
For fans hoping to get closer to Warren and Friday night’s yet-to-be-announced co-headliner, Golden Circle upgrades will go on sale at noon on Wednesday, 30 September 2026 for existing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders.
