Abu Dhabi Comedy Season is giving comedy fans another reason to head to Yas Island this November. Anubhav Singh Bassi and Aries Spears will perform at Etihad Arena on Saturday 21 November 2026, bringing their distinctive stand-up styles to the capital.
Presented by Blu Blood, the two separately ticketed performances, FACT Magazine joins the celebrations as the official media partner, with a line-up that spans Bassi’s personal storytelling and Spears’ celebrity impressions.
Aries Spears brings more than three decades of comedy experience to his Abu Dhabi debut. Television audiences will know him from his eight-season run on MADtv, where his characters and impressions became a signature part of the sketch show. His live performances combine quick delivery, audience interaction and commentary on popular culture.
His repertoire includes impressions of Michael Jackson, Eddie Murphy and Shaquille O’Neal, while film credits include Jerry Maguire and The Pest. Beyond the stage and screen, Spears also co-hosts the Spears & Steinberg podcast, giving listeners another outlet for his candid humour and opinions.
Anubhav Singh Bassi, meanwhile, arrives with Kisi Ko Batana Mat, a Hindi-language show that puts his storytelling skills centre stage. Drawing on his own experiences and close observations of everyday life, the Indian comedian finds humour in personal setbacks, familiar situations and the conversations people have with their friends.
Since beginning his stand-up career at an open mic in 2017, Bassi has built a substantial audience on YouTube and taken his comedy to stages worldwide. His screen work includes the Prime Video special Bas Kar Bassi, giving fans another way to discover the anecdotes and conversational delivery behind his success.
Tickets for Bassi start from AED 125, while seats for Spears are priced from AED 120. Both performances are open to guests aged 18 and over. Phones and smart accessories will be secured in individual pouches during the performances.
