The three-day Disney+ concert series will take place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi is turning up the festive magic once again, with one of the emirate’s most popular entertainment destinations set to host a spectacular celebration of Disney music and movies. Fans can look forward to a weekend of big-screen nostalgia, live orchestral music and some of the most iconic songs at the Disney+ Live in Concert Series in Abu Dhabi.

From 18 to 20 December 2026, Disney+ Live in Concert will take over Etihad Arena on Yas Island, bringing four Disney films to the big screen alongside the live sound of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. Each full-length film will be projected on the big screen while the orchestra performs its score and songs live and in sync with the action.

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will provide the live music throughout the series. Known for its versatility across classical and contemporary sounds, the orchestra will perform the scores and songs live while each film plays on screen.

The line-up brings together four very different Disney favourites, spanning animation, comedy, adventure and festive nostalgia. The series opens on Friday, 18 December 2026 with Encanto, taking audiences into the magical world of the Madrigal family. The film’s award-winning soundtrack includes the global phenomenon We Don’t Talk About Bruno.

On Saturday 19 December 2026, you get to witness two shows. First up is Frozen, the Disney classic featuring Anna, Elsa and Olaf, along with the Academy Award-winning song “Let It Go”. Then comes Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, bringing a festive feel as Kevin finds himself accidentally separated from his family once again.

The series concludes on Sunday, 20 December 2026 with one of Disney’s most enduring animated classics, The Lion King. The original 1994 film features an iconic musical score and songs including “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata,” with music from Elton John, Tim Rice and Hans Zimmer, alongside African vocal and choir arrangements by South African producer and composer Lebo M. With the orchestra performing the music live, the finale promises to be one of the most spectacular moments of the weekend.

Tickets are priced from AED 80, so if you’re there for Encanto, Frozen, The Lion King, Home Alone 2 — or all four — expect plenty of familiar songs, big-screen nostalgia and a generous dose of Disney magic.
