Zara Larsson, Lewis Capaldi, Imagine Dragons, The Script and The Chainsmokers will soundtrack the Formula 1 season finale on Yas Island.
Few sporting events combine racing and live music quite like the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. As the championship reaches its season finale at Yas Marina Circuit from Thursday, 3 to Sunday, 6 December 2026, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yasalam After-Race Concerts will once again turn Yas Island into one of the UAE’s biggest entertainment destinations.
This year’s line-up covers pop, rock and electronic music. Zara Larsson and Lewis Capaldi will open proceedings on Thursday, Imagine Dragons headline Saturday, while The Script and The Chainsmokers share closing-night duties on Sunday. All five performances take place at Etihad Live, formerly known as Etihad Park.
Access to the After-Race Concerts is included with eligible Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets, while Golden Circle upgrades are available.
Zara Larsson: 3 December 2026
Swedish pop star Zara Larsson will open the Yasalam After-Race Concerts on Thursday, 3 December 2026, sharing the bill with Lewis Capaldi. Larsson has spent more than a decade turning infectious pop hooks into global hits, with “Lush Life”, “Never Forget You” and her Clean Bandit collaboration “Symphony” among her best-known tracks. Her 2025 album Midnight Sun earned the singer her first Grammy nomination for the title track, while the 2026 remix project Midnight Sun: Girls Trip featured an all-female guest list including Shakira, Robyn, Tyla, PinkPantheress and Kehlani. Her Abu Dhabi set should deliver a bright, high-energy start to race weekend.
Lewis Capaldi: 3 December 2026
Lewis Capaldi will also take to the stage at Etihad Live on Thursday, 3 December 2026, pairing his emotionally charged songwriting with Larsson’s dance-pop energy. The Scottish singer became a global breakout star with “Someone You Loved,” which reached number one in both the UK and US, before following it with songs including “Before You Go”, “Forget Me” and “Wish You the Best.” After stepping away from touring in 2023, Capaldi returned to the stage at Glastonbury in 2025 and subsequently released the Survive EP. Known for combining big ballads with quick-witted humour between songs, his Abu Dhabi appearance marks a return to the capital following his performance at Saadiyat Nights in January 2026.
Imagine Dragons: 5 December 2026
Imagine Dragons take over Saturday night on 5 December 2026, giving the weekend its biggest rock moment. Formed in Las Vegas and fronted by Dan Reynolds, the band broke through internationally with “Radioactive” from debut album Night Visions. The track won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance, and the group followed it with a run of stadium-sized singles including “Demons”, “Believer”, “Thunder” and “Whatever It Takes”. More recent material includes “Eyes Closed” from 2024 album LOOM. Abu Dhabi is familiar territory for the group, who performed at Etihad Arena in January 2023 during the Mercury World Tour.
The Script: 6 December 2026
The Script will help close the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend on Sunday, 6 December 2026. The Dublin-formed band have built their reputation on melodic pop-rock and lyrics made for mass singalongs, with “Hall of Fame”, “Breakeven’ and “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” among their defining songs. Their self-titled debut reached number one in the UK in 2008, while the band have since secured six UK number one albums. The timing of the Yasalam show also follows the August 2026 release of their eighth studio album, The User’s Guide to Being Human. Led by Danny O’Donoghue, The Script should offer a counterpoint to Sunday’s electronic finale.
The Chainsmokers: 6 December 2026
The Chainsmokers complete Sunday’s double bill on 6 December 2026, taking Yasalam into electronic territory after the Formula 1 season finale. Made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, the New York duo moved from club culture into mainstream pop with a sequence of crossover hits, including “Roses”, “Closer” with Halsey, “Paris” and “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay. “Don’t Let Me Down”, featuring Daya, earned them the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2017, while “Closer” became their first Billboard Hot 100 number one. Their mix of live vocals, pop songwriting and festival-ready production makes them a natural choice to close four days of racing and entertainment on Yas Island.
With more performers still to be announced for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Concerts, the F1 season finale is once again shaping up to be as busy off the track as it is on it.
