Mondrian Abu Dhabi announces its UAE hotel debut

The property boasts six restaurants, an infinity pool and waterfront views.

Abu Dhabi is welcoming a brand-new hotel, Mondrian Abu Dhabi. Ennismore has partnered with Al Hazoom Group, and unveiled Mondrian’s first hotel in the United Arab Emirates. Scheduled to open in 2024, here’s what to expect from the cool new hotel. 

Mondrian Abu Dhabi will be located in the downtown area near the Abu Dhabi canal. The hotel will boast waterfront views overlooking both Reem Island and Maryah Island, providing direct views of the capital’s skyline.

The hotel spans 221 rooms and 80 serviced apartments. Visitors will have six food and beverage venues to choose from, which include a crystal-clear lagoon in the sun. The Insta credentials are real, as it includes ocean views and an infinity pool. Plus, lounges and daybeds will surround the water’s edge. 

Mondrian prides itself on being a lifestyle brand, which mixes culture with hospitality. Mondrian Abu Dhabi’s facilities include a spa, swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness area, ballroom, kid’s club and shopping area. Plus, business travellers can take advantage of the four meeting rooms.

The hotel has been designed by award-winning interior architect Tristan Du Plessis. We’re expecting great things, as he is behind hospitality hits, which range from MeatCo at Madinat Jumeirah to SĀN Beach on Palm West Beach in Dubai. The architect’s aim to create a clean, contemporary aesthetic, which also pays tribute to the Middle East location.

With an imaginative design by Tristan Du Pleiss, Mondrian Abu Dhabi will certainly be a feast for the senses.”
