Mott 32 has confirmed forthcoming restaurants in Abu Dhabi, London and Riyadh.
The brand won Best Chinese Restaurant at the FACT Dining Awards Dubai in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Exact locations and opening dates for Abu Dhabi, London and Riyadh have yet to be announced.
The acclaimed Chinese restaurant is embarking on a major global expansion.
Mott 32 has built its reputation in some seriously impressive surroundings. The Hong Kong-born restaurant has expanded from its original Central location to landmark destinations around the world, including Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas and the 73rd floor of Address Beach Resort in Dubai. Now, Mott 32 is preparing to add locations in Abu Dhabi, London and Riyadh to its burgeoning restaurant repertoire.
Despite the Manhattan-inspired name, Mott 32 was founded in Hong Kong in 2014. The restaurant takes its moniker from 32 Mott Street in New York, an address linked to the city’s first Chinese grocery store. Its menus draw upon Cantonese, Beijing and Shanghai culinary traditions, with signatures ranging from dim sum to Wagyu beef and the celebrated 42-day Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck.

Now, the restaurant is preparing for another major growth spurt. Maximal Concepts, the Hong Kong hospitality group behind Mott 32, has confirmed upcoming locations in Abu Dhabi, London and Riyadh on its website, alongside an international pipeline that includes Bali, Budapest, Los Angeles, Manila, Sydney and several Australian cities.
The expansion also strengthens the connection between Mott 32 and Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group. The two companies initially partnered to launch Mott 32 Dubai in 2022, before Sunset Hospitality Group acquired a majority stake in Maximal Concepts in 2024. Mott 32 has since become an important part of the group’s international dining strategy.

Details surrounding the three new restaurants remain scarce. Sunset Hospitality Group officially lists both Mott 32 Abu Dhabi and Mott 32 Riyadh as opening soon, although neither address has been announced.
Riyadh could prove particularly interesting. King Abdullah Financial District has rapidly developed into one of the Saudi capital’s key dining destinations, and Sunset Hospitality Group already operates Black Tap in KAFD. While a Mott 32 address there has not been confirmed, the district would certainly fit the restaurant’s preference for high-profile locations and renders show an intimate and atmopsheric dining room.
Abu Dhabi, meanwhile, represents a natural extension for Mott 32’s UAE presence. Sunset Hospitality Group has expanded significantly in the capital, including lauching SUSHISAMBA at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers in 2024.

London remains equally mysterious. No opening date or official address has been revealed. However, a link associated with the UK project pointing towards Corinthia London offers an intriguing, though unconfirmed, possibility. The landmark Whitehall hotel has recently been refreshing its restaurant portfolio with the opening of Kerridge’s and Georgie’s Bar from acclaimed British chef Tom Kerridge, alongside Mezzogiorno by Francesco Mazzei.
The expansion announcement comes just months after FACT Magazine partnered with Mott 32 Dubai. In June 2026, the restaurant hosted the debut FACT Favourites collaboration, serving an exclusive menu of editor-selected dishes. The partnership celebrated the plates that have helped make Mott 32 one of Dubai’s most decorated Chinese restaurants, with Mott 32 named ‘Best Chinese Restaurant’ at the FACT Dining Awards Dubai in 2023, 2024 and 2025, securing three consecutive wins.
