Prepare for an unforgettable pop culture weekend as the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) returns to Abu Dhabi. With a star-studded lineup of celebrities, voice actors, and comic creators, the event takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 9 to 11 February. So, if you want to spot the stars, these are the celebrities gracing the event with their presence. 

Frank Welker

Frank Welker is the vocal genius behind countless characters. From Megatron in Transformers to Scooby-Doo’s Fred, it’s all him. With a career spanning decades, Welker’s vocal wizardry extends to animals too, from Abu in Aladdin to the mischievous Curious George


Iñaki Godoy

With his captivating performance as Monkey D. Luffy, Iñaki Godoy is getting ready to spill the tea on his journey into the wild world of One Piece. Get ready for some serious insights as he discusses the hustle and heart behind bringing the beloved character with stretchy limbs to life.


James & Oliver Phelps

The Weasley twins from Harry Potter – Fred and George – are heading to MEFCC 2024. After ditching school to audition for the first Harry Potter movie, the prankster extraordinaire skyrocketed to fame. Since then, the Phelps twins have been fan favourites, infusing Fred and George with their trademark quirkiness, hilarious antics, and a love for Quidditch.


Peter Cullen

Hailing from Canada, Peter Cullen is the voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers, making him the ultimate Autobot leader — and he’s also Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. For art enthusiasts, the Artist Alley features local and regional artists showcasing and selling their latest masterpieces. And calling all gamers — the Gaming Arena is your playground to level up with the latest challenges.

The Main Stage will host celebrity panels, interviews, community sessions, and exclusive fan screenings. Meanwhile, the Festival Plaza promises a whirlwind of live entertainment, music, engaging activities, and a feast of lip-smacking food and beverages.

Making its debut this year is the Japanese Village, transporting attendees to the enchanting Land of the Rising Sun. Experience traditional wonders like Yukata tryouts, origami, calligraphy, and live performances that add an extra dash of cultural flair to the Middle East Film & Comic Con tapestry.
