Amaru will be home to a new restaurant and bar.
Amaru, a new Latin American-inspired restaurant and bar, will open at the entrance of Souk Madinat Jumeirah in January 2026. The restaurant celebrates Latin rhythms and flavours, providing the perfect hub for a night to remember, filled with good food and great vibes.
Inspired by the mythology of the legendary Serpent-Dragon — a timeless symbol of transformation, prosperity, and connection — every detail at Amaru is designed to whisk guests away on an exotic journey. From clay-and-wood interiors inspired by ancient temples to the beat of Latin music and DJ-led sets, Amaru creates an immersive experience.
At the core of Amaru is the central bar, which sets the restaurant’s rhythm. Plus, it serves as a key meeting point where guests mingle and enjoy the entertainment. Here, guests can enjoy zingy piscos, smoky mezcals, and no low creations known as Amaru’s Sober Whispers. Each drink reflects the unique energy of the space.
Amaru’s menu follows the map of Latin America. The food takes inspiration from the citrus of Peru in its ceviche, and the coastal delights of Brazil in its moqueca. Every dish is made with authenticity and viewed through a modern lens — and, as always, designed to be shared. For a more personal and cosy experience, the Chef’s Table will offer a specially curated tasting menu. The experience takes place in Amaru’s private dining room.
Six metres above Amaru, the Galleria provides an elevated view of the space. Plus, it contains its very own bar and a vantage point from which to admire the restaurant below.
